Who We Are?
The Ex Situ Conservation Center for Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Zooculture Ecogreen & Vida C.A. is a legally registered organization dedicated to wildlife conservation.
Our work focuses on open and closed zooculture, scientific research, and the national and international exchange of wildlife species, both native and exotic, under proper authorization.
The center was created by virtue of the existing need for vital spaces for the development of conservation and species management measures in the country, and in this way, to seek to perpetuate the existence of fauna in nature. In addition, to strengthen international management in a global and regional context through the exchange of specimens with different zoological parks and related centers, taking into consideration the fight against the excessive rise worldwide of environmental degradation caused by population growth and concentration in unsuitable places, the inadequate use of resources, interventions in protected natural areas, pollution from atmospheric emissions, desertification of soils and destruction of forests; which have prompted international organizations to expand policies with institutional support to mitigate such effects on environmental impact.
Therefore, the Ecogreen & Vida Conservation Center was created in response to a global environmental urgency: to protect biodiversity at risk, defend life on the planet, and ensure the survival of species.
We operate under a strong legal and ethical framework. We work in the conservation, reproduction, and release of wildlife, duly authorized.
We promote environmental education, science, and international collaboration and cooperation to preserve life.
